BANGALORE, INDIA: After all the Lollipop buzz that Google made last year, Google has unveiled its Android M at its I/O conference. The release of this Android version is expected by this year.

Most importantly, Google has declared to bring Android in multi-screens including watches, TVs, cares etc.

The company said, "By the end of this year, 35 car models will offer Android Auto, helping you access Search, Maps, music and other information through your car’s controls. And the first sets running Android TV have now arrived."

In the Google blog post, Sundar Pichai, senior vice president, Products, said, "Among the highlights, we’ve improved battery life and streamlined permissions for apps to make it easier for you to decide what information the apps on your phone can use."

Google has introduced a significant feature Android Pay. It lets the user pays for all the mobile purchases, without actually opening the particular app and making the transaction.

With Google Now you will now get notifications for parking cars,  travel updates, available restaurants, etc, to make your mobile smarter.

"We’re working to make Google Now a little smarter in the upcoming Android M release, so you can ask it to assist you with whatever you’re doing—right in the moment, anywhere on your phone. With “Now on tap,” you can simply tap and hold the home button for assistance without having to leave what you’re doing—whether you’re in an app or on a website. For example, if a friend emails you about seeing the new movie Tomorrowland, you can invoke Google Now without leaving your app, to quickly see the ratings, watch a trailer, or even buy tickets—then get right back to what you were doing, " said Google post.

Google's Brillo aims to help developers and manufacturers build connected devices, which is an open Internet of Things platform.

The company posted that, "Although it will launch later this year, we previewed Brillo today because we’re committed to fostering a vibrant ecosystem in which we all work together to move the industry forward."
