ALE banks on Make in India for growth

It must be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced his ambitious Make in India to encourage the manufacturers in the country

MUMBAI, INDIA: Alcatel Lucent Enterprise (ALE) is banking on opportunities from the Government of India’s ambitious Make in India initiative, for growth.

As a first step, the company was recently selected as the communications and networking solutions provider for the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) project by NewGen.

To further leverage opportunities in smart metro, hospitality and healthcare projects, ALE has established research and development, and customer support centers in Bengaluru and Chennai respectively.

According to Michel Emelianoff, CEO, ALE, "In line with the Indian government's Make in India vision, we have been proactively investing, building and providing advanced communication solutions in the country. With our partners, we constantly discover new opportunities to enhance the personalized connected experience in India and will continue to wholeheartedly contribute and invest in this emerging market."

It must be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced his ambitious Make in India to encourage the manufacturers in the country, in his maiden Independence Day address last year.
