Aksh launches flat drop cable Magiq

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Aksh Technologies Ltd., an optical fiber cable supplier, announced the launch of Magiq, a flat, small, lightweight drop cable.

The company says that the drop cable offers an ideal solution for small fibre counts that are needed in the final sections of an optical network, particularly in a fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) installation.

Magiq comes with gel technology ans can sustain temperature range of -30 to +70 degree Celsius, clams the company in a release.

It is optimized for fibre counts 1,2,4,6 and 12 for minimizing development costs. The cable is self supporting and hence does not need any metal wire support, adds the company.
