Airtel appoints Sunil Tandon as COO

MUMBAI, INDIA: Bharti Airtel announced the appointment of Sunil Tandon as the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of its M&G (Maharashtra and Goa) circle - mobile services effective from October 2008. Prior to this, Sunil was Head - devices and international roaming at Bharti Airtel Ltd, New Delhi.

Sunil joined Airtel in August 2003 and has had a multifaceted exposure in mobile services marketing.

Manu Talwar, CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the M&G circle – mobile services, stated, “We would like to welcome Sunil and wish him good luck in the endeavors that he undertakes to further strengthen the circle.”
