Air Works sets inventory unit for Honeywell at BIAL

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Air Works India Engineering Pvt. Ltd, provider of aviation engineering services, yesterday inaugurated a forward stocking location for Honeywell.  Honeywell would be supplying Air Works with a variety of products for Gulfstream and Dassault aircraft which include Fuel Pumps, Full Authority Digital Electronic Controls, Display Units Navigation and Guidance Units, etc.

The forward stocking location is a fully stocked operation with an initial investment of USD 10 million of inventory, which would allow Honeywell to ship parts within 24 hours of order receipt, said a press release.

As an authorized Honeywell service center, Air Works would have the capability to support Falcon 2000, Falcon 900 and Falcon F7X aircraft as well as Gulfstream GIV, GV, G450, and G550 aircraft.

Located in the BIAL complex, Air Works has a state of the art 25,000 sq ft of shelving area, apart from small engine and APU storage facility. The facility provides customs, airline and cargo all in one unit to enable distribution of parts to customers within a fast turnaround time. Air Works deals in both mechanical parts as well as avionics, which is estimated to be a USD 20 million market annually and is expected to grow significantly with the expanding fleet size of business aircraft in India.
