AIMA upgrades ERP contract

NEW DELHI: All India Management Association (AIMA) has gone ahead for upgradation of its eBizFrame ERP, which is being used by the organization for managing its back-end operations for the past several years. Eastern Software System (ESS), an ERP Company has announced that it has won and currently executing a prestigious contract from AIMA.

According to Anil Bakht, Managing Director, Eastern Software Systems, “Till recently, the usage of eBizFrame at AIMA was primarily restricted to the Accounts module and some limited functionality from other modules. However, AIMA has now decided to upgrade to the latest version of eBizFrame ERP which has more advanced features than the previous versions and will enable them to manage their operations more effectively and efficiently.”

Under the upgrade contract AIMA will start using some of the other modules of eBizFrame more intensively like the Inventory, Purchase and HR/Payroll modules. AIMA also plans to use ebizframe’s Corporate Portal which will be deployed on AIMA’s intranet and help them automate internal workflow within the organization. The Portal will greatly cut down the operational inefficiencies by moving a lot of existing paper based workflow to online workflow.

AIMA was created as an apex body of professional management with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. AIMA has established close linkages with over 3000 institutions and over 30,000 individual professionals directly and through network of the Local Management Associations.

AIMA’s activities include Distance management Education, management Development Programmes, National Events, Competitions, Research, Publication and Testing Services. AIMA is represented on a number of policy making bodies of the Government of India and a number of National bodies / organizations like AICTE, BIS, IIMs, NPC.
