Based on AGI's time-tested, astrodynamically accurate 3D engine, Insight3D supports terrain, imagery, 3D models, satellite orbits, aircraft routes and more.

Objects can be animated and also interacted with through picking and flexible camera control. Insight3D is free for development and non-commercial use.

"Aerospace professionals that have long recognized the value of enhancing their analysis with 3D visualization through our desktop software will now be able to add that same value to their own products," says Kevin Flood, vice president, AGI Product Marketing.

"Similarly, we believe GIS professionals are becoming aware of the value of visualizing air and space assets along with their geographic data. Insight3D excels at this; for example, GPS coverage and air-to-ground lines-of-sight. We see air and space as layers not yet fully exploited by the GIS community," added Flood.
