AGC Networks ties up with NEC India

NEW DELHI: AGC Networks, an enterprise communications solutions integrator, has entered into a strategic agreement with NEC India, a provider of network, communications, to distribute, install and support products from its Private Network Solutions (PNS) division.

With this strategic arrangement, AGC Networks would offer NEC’s Key Telephone Systems, PBX and IP PBX systems through its channel partners and system integrators in the country, said a press release.

NEC has an established presence in India and is aggressively targeting verticals like education, hospitality, enterprise, biometric security and other growth segments through its products and solution suite comprising projectors, commercial display units, EPABX, IP Telephony, unified communications solutions, Point of Sale (POS) solutions and Biometric ID solutions.

Vinod S. Nair, director- Marketing, AGC Networks Ltd, said, “At AGC we believe in providing solutions that address the needs of every tier of the market. NEC, through its extensive product range, will enable AGC to address segments of the market which we hitherto did not address. We have always believed in being associated with market leaders and the NEC portfolio has a significant role to play in our next phase of growth.

He added that their offering would be differentiated through a pan-India 24X7 service support coming from AGC Networks and customized solutions to address the needs of every vertical.

Said Ravinder Raina, country head — Private Network Solutions, NEC India, “As part of our growth roadmap, we are looking at strengthening our partner ecosystem by enhancing depth and reach through specialized system integrators and consultants who can target specific verticals.”

He added that they were pleased to have AGC Networks as a strategic partner of NEC India for the Private Networks Solutions division. With AGC Networks, they hope to cater to the growing demand in the enterprise and government sector in India.
