Modi who is known for his tech-savvy image, has already made it clear that he would be using social media as a communication tool to reach out to a larger section of people, especially the youth.

Moments after his swearing-in as PM, the PMO website was relaunched with a short message from the PM, where he said, "I am a firm believer in the power of technology and social media to communicate with people across the world. I hope this platform creates opportunities to listen, learn and share one's views."

Besides Modi, the other BJP ministers who are quite active on social media are Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Arun Jaitley.
