ADTRAN gains SMB recognition

HUNTSVILLE, US: ADTRAN, Inc., a provider in converged voice and data solutions, today announced that it has been named as the 2009 small and mid-sized business (SMB) networking hardware company of the year in Everything Channel's 2009 Annual Report Card (ARC).

For 24 years, the ARC Awards have recognized outstanding partner programs and vendor service.

ADTRAN was selected as the top company in the SMB networking hardware category as a result of first place finishes in all major areas within the category, including product innovation, support, and partnership, said a press release.

“For years, we've asked solution providers to rate vendors to determine their level of commitment to the partner community. Being named an Annual Report Card Company of the Year is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. We congratulate ADTRAN on being named to this year's list,” said Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.

Ted Cole, vice president of channel sales, ADTRAN Enterprise Networks Division said, “It is an honor to be named as the SMB Networking Hardware Company of the Year.”

The company's largest improvement was in technology innovation, recognizing ADTRAN's emphasis in this area with recent innovations such as Voice Quality Monitoring and Green IT, said the release.
