Adobe, Kodak join hands to promote Photoshop

BANGALORE: Adobe Systems India and Kodak Professional, a division of Kodak

India Ltd., have joined hands in a strategic alliance to jointly promote Adobe

Photoshop Elements to professional photographers, photography labs as well as

individuals.

Photoshop Elements will give users many unique and additional features used

by graphics professionals for editing. Users can work with images from digital

cameras, traditional cameras and scanners and prepare them for posting on the

web, ordering prints online, or outputting their images to a desktop printer.

Currently, Photoshop Elements is available in India at an estimated price of Rs

7,000 on all platforms






"Digital photography is growing in popularity among professionals as well
as amateurs", said Kodak Professional Division vice president Suresh Iyer.

"Our association with Adobe will bring the experience of digital

photography to mass marketplace. Together, we will offer the industry a set of

tools, which enable the user to digitize their work faster and in a simple

manner with number of creative options. This tie-up is also in line with our

worldwide infoimaging campaign" , he further added.

As part of the alliance, Photoshop Elements will be included in the suite of

products offered by Kodak Professional, to enrich the experience of digital

photography for professionals as well enthusiasts. The solution will also be

available through Kodak Prolabs, if required by the users.
