Acer rolls out news PCs with Hyper-threading

BANGALORE: Acer announced that in close cooperation with leading processor supplier, Intel, it will ship new Veriton PC models with the Pentium® 4 processor featuring Hyper-Threading™ technology at clock speeds upto 2.6 GHz.



The latest range of Veriton computers continues Acer's tradition of delivering reliable productivity tools for small and medium enterprises. A comprehensive desktop computing solution, the new Veriton 7600G, provides MIS departments and technical administrators with practical management software and a convenient way to standardize their hardware platforms.

The Veriton series optimizes business performance by equipping it with a one-button recovery function that allows for immediate restoration of the PC either to its native state or a customized set up which includes all programmes and applications across the working environment. The ‘G’ feature is specifically designed with a graphic accelerator 8X AGP graphics card, which is integrated into the chipset, to support high-end graphics options. Veriton 7600G is built on common platform components that increase its flexibility to upgrade and roll out PCs in the entire organization ensuring safety against traditional hardware conflicts that arise from non-standard components.
