The N260G-U2802CP starts at a suggested price of $399, and is a compact, basic nettop for space-constrained business users like those in small offices, reception, classrooms, libraries, showrooms, call centers, front desks, and kiosks, said a press release.

The Veriton N260G is a tiny "one-liter" nettop in a case similar to the AspireRevo nettop previewed earlier this year. While the AspireRevo used the Nvidia Ion platform, the N260G uses a more conventional Intel Atom and Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics combination for better compatibility with business IT administration.

The N260G has built in 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and an HDMI port for connections to flat panel monitors. The N260G is small enough to mount under a shelf or even behind a flat panel monitor.

The $399 Veriton N260G-U282CP comes with an Intel Atom N280 processor, 2GB of RAM, Windows XP Pro (with Vista Business on CD), a 160-GB hard drive, Intel GMA 4500M graphics, digital media card reader, six USB ports, HDMI port, PCIe mini x1 slot, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a PS2 keyboard, USB mouse, and a one-year limited warranty. The N260G is available now through Acer authorized resellers in North America, the release added.
