Acer launches 'Nitro 5 Spin' convertible gaming laptop at Rs 79,990

Acer has launched a new laptop for the gaming freaks. Named Nitro 5 Spin, the convertible laptop is priced at Rs 79,990 and will be available through Flipkart, leading retail stores and Acer exclusive stores.

Coming to the specifications, the device features a 15.6-inch display that offers wide viewing angles which are ideal for watching videos, playing games and browsing photos. It is further equipped with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processor, with i7 and i5 options, along with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics and GDDR5 VRAM. The Nitro 5 Spin offers storage options of 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. The Intel Core i7 option with the 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD is priced at Rs. 94,990 on Flipkart. Both models come with Windows 10 Home. Being a gaming notebook, it has a backlit keyboard too.

"We are excited to launch the first convertible gaming Notebook 'Nitro 5 Spin' in India," said Chandrahas Panigrahi, Chief Marketing officer and Consumer Business Head, Acer, in a statement.

Connectivity options on the Acer Nitro 5 Spin include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, 1xUSB 2.0, 1xUSB 3.0, 1xUSB 3.0 with Power-off Charging, 1xUSB Type-C, 1xHDMI port, and a 2-in-1 card reader. The company says that the device is powered by a 4-cell 3220 mAH battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of gaming.

The laptop also includes dual front-facing speakers and one subwoofer. It is paired with audio technologies like Dolby Audio Premium, Acer TrueHarmony and Acer Smart Amplifier.
