Acer gives free Internet with PC

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Acer India, today announced the launch of its special Christmas and New Year offer. Starting Christmas Day to the 5th of January 2010, Acer offers customers the chance to connect to the Internet on purchase of eMachines’ notebooks across India.

With this latest offer from Acer - Computers for Everyone, Connectivity for All (CECA), customers now get the opportunity to possess technology products from Acer along with connectivity to harness the power of the World Wide Web, said a press release.

Customers can opt for a free Broadband plus hi-speed Internet USB modem from Reliance on purchasing an eMachines notebook at price of Rs. 19,999 + taxes for the 160GB model. The 250GB model will cost Rs. 500 higher

“Acer has always endeavored to provide best in-class products to our customers. This festive season, we want to ensure that we continue to deliver on our promise and help customers start the New Year on a great note,” said S Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India.

He further added that the offer on the eMachine notebook will help us to increase our bandwidth and expand our customer base across our network.

In keeping with the company’s philosophy of offering cutting edge technology at mainstream prices, Acer has been rolling out exciting offers for its end customers all through the year. This offer enables customers to avail better price point with superior technology, on eMachines notebooks, the release added.
