Accenture strengthens cloud play with Cloud Sherpas acquisition

MUMBAI, INDIA: IT services company Accenture is strengthening its cloud play. It is acquiring Cloud Sherpas, a provider of cloud advisory and technology services specializing in Google, Salesforce and ServiceNow.

Secondly, Accenture has created Accenture Cloud First Applications team, which delivers cloud services for Google, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday. Naturally, the 1,100 employees including 500 certified IT professionals from Cloud Sherpas will join the new unit.

Also with the acquisition, Accenture would be able to provide all cloud services such as strategy, technology consulting, application implementation, integration and management services, under one umbrella to its enterprise customers.
