LAS VEGAS, USA: Swiss Army Knife maker Victorinox unveiled its Swiss Army solid-state drive (SSD) at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012, says a report on CNET.
This Swiss Knife sized storage device supports USB (2.0 and 3.0) and eSATA connections, and the only SSD device that comes with a Bi-Stable graphic display for labeling contents. Also Read: Flashes of success: The SSD wave"The graphic display is a tiny 48- by 96-dot LCD that displays a label that stays on even when the drive is not plugged in," the report adds.
It also offers automatic back-up and synchronization with AES 256 security encryption.
The Swiss Army SSD, expected during the second quarter of 2012, comes in capacities ranging from 64GB to 1TB, and is priced at $470 and goes up to about $2,000.
