BANGALORE, INDIA: Fujitsu's Eternus DX60/DX80 systems are now available in a choice of three base models - Fibre Channel, iSCSI, or SAS.

In addition, enterprise-class solid state drives (SSD) will allow Eternus DX80 to serve service levels for business-critical applications, which require the highest IOs per second. These enhancements will offer customers new ways to interface and lower their operational costs.

Moreover, they include lower-cost nearline SAS drives instead of the more expensive SAS drives. The Eternus DX60/DX80 systems are scalable so that companies do not need to buy a new system when their business grows, because customers can easily scale up the existing systems. In addition, the Eternus DX60/DX80 includes high-end features for free, such as RAID migration, data block guard, redundant copy, disk encryption and more.
