BANGALORE, INDIA: VMware Inc., a provider the global leader in virtualization solutions from the desktop through the datacentre and to the cloud, today announced that it has received the Frost & Sullivan Market Share Leadership award for virtualization in India for the financial year 2009.

Winners were announced during an award ceremony held in New Delhi recently.

Girish Trivedi, Frost & Sullivan, deputy director, South Asia Middle East, Information & Communication Technology Practice, said, "VMware has become a preferred vendor for virtualization with a wide product portfolio, technology focus and strong channel strategy across various segments, especially in the enterprise segment."
