HYDERABAD, INDIA: Cloud computing is gaining more and more acceptance among IT enterprises, despite the fact that security concerns and low awareness levels are marring its growth, finds a survey conducted by AppLabs, a software testing and quality management company.
The survey further finds that 30 percent of the companies have already adopted cloud computing and an additional 20 percent are planning to do so within the next 12 months.
Whereas, one-third of the respondents felt that lack of awareness was the major constraint, while another 21 percent cited security concerns as a major deterrent for adopting cloud computing.
