NEW DELHI, INDIA: Xerox India Limited, a part of Xerox global corporation ranked 145th in the fortune 500 list today announced a significant landmark in the digital printing industry with the installation of two Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Presses at Repro India Ltd, integrated print solution service provider based in Mumbai and Friends Digital Color Solutions, printing solution provider based in New Delhi.

With this Xerox India's has achieved a its fourth Xerox iGen3 installation taking the digital printing industry to greater heights.

The Xerox iGen3 is a flagship product of Xerox in the high end digital printing equipment that has changed the face of the digital printing industry across the globe. The Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Press is the result of a $1 billion global research and development investment and is based on more than 400 patents worldwide.

With a speed of 6600 4/0 A4 full process color impressions per hour (110 4/0 impressions per minute), it facilitates short-run printing, on-demand printing and personalized communication. The Xerox iGen3 prints on industry's maximum sheet size of 14.33"x22.5", on up to 350 gsm paper and on multiple substrates including uncoated, coated, textured, rough paper and synthetic media.

Both Repro India & Friends Digital Color Solutions expect to use the Xerox iGen3 digital press to increase its document management handling, grow print volumes, provide its customers with superior colour capabilities, new variable printing solutions and create new business opportunities by offering next-generation print services for its customers.
