NEW DELHI, INDIA: Tadiran Telecom Ltd has announced embedded Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) support in all its line of products. SIP is an end-to-end communication protocol, used for establishing sessions in an IP network. A session could be a two-way telephone call, a video conference call or a collaborative multimedia conference and, potentially, business-to-business processes as well. Vishal Singh, country manager, Tadiran said: "In this time of rapid progress when technological changes happen at a dynamic pace and users are forced to frequently discard their latest products in lieu of the newer ones, Tadiran is committed to protect its costumers' investments and SIP is one such platform that allows the convergence of many different working applications, allowing great mobility to improve working environments for end-users." He added that it was very important for companies to consider and question the validity of the technology before investing in it as it was not fair to the end user if he had to bear the brunt of updating his system every few years. SIP is a protocol with a great promise for the convergence of IP base architectures. SIP, by virtue of its ability to provide both session connection and session management independent of application, allows for its use by multiple applications. SIP allows a common framework for the information to be shared between applications and enhances the user experience for all. Tadiran enabled SIP products are now a proven and working technology. Developed by Tadiran's R&D Wing, offered in skin capability, hardware and software are fully integrated in all the systems, using system original management tools, well documented, without the need to add external boxes, power supplies, or a different management tool.
