NEW DELHI, INDIA: Though a bit late, mobile phone maker Nokia has finally unveiled its dual SIM mobile phone devices, Nokia C1 (C1-00) and Nokia C2 (C2-00).
It's now up to the Indian market, which has already seen several dual SIM mobile phones from Micromax, Zen, Spice, Karbonn etc., to decide upon the worth of these new devices from this Finnish-based mobile phone maker.Also Read: Lemon to launch dual-SIM Android handset
Nokia's C series mobile phone C1 will be the first of its kind two-in-one SIM mobile phone from Nokia's stable. This is available for Rs. 1999 and the company even goes on to claim that the device can support standby battery time of up to six weeks.
Mary McDowell, executive vice president, Mobile Phones, Nokia said: “Nokia C1 owners will greatly benefit from the ‘call divert’ feature in the new phone, which will ensure that they never miss a call from either of the two SIMs. Moreover, by simply holding down a key, people will be able to switch between the two SIM cards in the phone.”
Nokia C2 comes with Ovi Life Tools and Ovi Mail. Nokia's Ovi Life Tools support. The Nokia C2 also supports micro-SD cards of up to 32GB.
The devices also have standard flashlight paired with a vivid colour screen, FM radio with standard headphone jack.
