The company noted that AUO's LED-backlit TV panels range from 24- to 65-inch models, and for LCD monitors, the range of LED applications go up to as large as 27 inches, according to Digitimes.
In the 3D display arena, AUO is developing 3D panels for TV, monitor and notebook applications. The company said that it plans to introduce its 65-inch TV panels with built-in 3D display function in the fourth quarter of 2010. They are working on bringing out 3D notebook panels and 23- and 27-inch 3D monitor panels by 2011.
AUO stated that it can currently provide 5- to 10-point multi-touch solutions. All-in-one PCs and tablet PCs are the major applications for touch panels.
