Adema is reportedly responsible for system design, environmental consulting, procurement, quality control and construction.
Sources have added that the Frito-Lay plant seeks to install a 5MWp solar system, and that additional cooperation from both companies is anticipated in order to complete the entire project. Frito-Lay, a part of PepsiCo, is the maker of Doritos and Sunchips. Adema is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gloria Solar International Holdings (GIH), which in turn is a subsidiary of E-ton Solar Tech. Reports say that a low capacity utilization at Adema have resulted in losses of about US$72 million in GIH during the first quarter of 2010.
In April 2010, Adema had received a contract from internationally known furniture company Ikea for a 600 KWp solar system
