Simmtronics rolls out new desktop range

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Simmtronics Semiconductors today announced the roll out of its new range of desktop PCs.

The new range is available in two types - SDC 2711S and SCD 2911S, said a press release.

The range comes with 15.6, 18.5 and 20-inch LCD monitor options. In addition, SDC 2711S comes with a three year warranty and SCD 2911S with a three year onsite warranty.

“The SDC 2711S and SCD 2911S desktops are part of our initiative to offer customers both performance packed computer experience and design excellence. On top of that, we offer added value to our customers through our service network across the country,” said Kumar Rajan, GM India and SAARC, Simmtronics Semiconductors Limited.

The SDC2711S comes with Intel Pentium Dual Core (E5400, 2.7 GHz, 2MB Cache, 800 FSB) processor, 1 GB of RAM (can be upgraded up to 4GB) and 500 GB SATA HDD.

The machine is equipped with DVD R/W Dual Layer, multimedia keyboard, optical mouse and slim cabinet. Simmtronics SDC 2711S comes preloaded with Ubuntu.

On the other hand, Simmtronics SCD2911S comes loaded with Intel Core 2 Duo (E7500, 2.93Ghz, 3MB Cache, 1066 FSB) processor, 1 GB RAM (can be upgraded up to 4 GB) and 500 GB SATA HDD. The other notable features of the Desktop include Multimedia Keyboard, Optical Mouse, Slim Cabinet and comes loaded with Ubuntu.

“Simmtronics would also be exporting PCs to UAE, UK and USA within the year 2010-11 as we are well established globally” commented Indrajit Sabharwal, managing director, Simmtronics Semiconductors Limited.
