Sophisticated tools like DLP (Data loss Protection/Data leakage Prevention) will become more mature and will be deployed for IPR protection.
End point surveillance tools will become more popular for tracking and logging the end user activity.Consolidation of endpoint technologies for better and effective security management at each level.
Focus will be on making Mobile devices more secure. New tools and software will be developed for encrypted communication. Lot of financial transactions are supposed to happen from these devices in near term.
Mobile devices will be used for managing remote setups. Wireless security will see significant advancements.
Wireless LAN will become more robust in terms of data transmission speed and throughput. Same time it has be made more secure by introducing sophisticated jammers and other control devices.
More standardized approach in terms of security compliance needs to be followed for making Cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) platforms more secure.
New Security standards for Cloud computing.
Cloud Maturity model will evolve on similar lines as that of CMMi.
Information Rights Management will become more popular and affordable.
Biometric logging into critical systems may become mandatory.
Network Access Control Systems may become more mature.
