The listings on the new platform will be completed in the last week and the companies to be listed are from the IT, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, garments and auto ancillary segments, the report said, quoting Lakshman Gugulothu, CEO, BSE SME Exchange.

Gugulothu further said that those companies who want to be listed have already completed the necessary modalities and secured approval of the exchange.
“Though only eight are close to coming out with IPOs, some 40 SME companies have sought approval for listing. Prominent mid-cap merchant bankers are in negotiation with these SME players for listing,” the CEO said.
