IndiaMART.com to take MSMEs to international shores

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Extending the reach of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in apparel and fashion industry in India, IndiaMART.com, an online B2B marketplace, has decided to participate in 'Magic', North America's largest trade event for apparel and fashion industry

'Magic' is scheduled to take place from August 21 to 24 at Las Vegas Convention Centre, Las Vegas, which will give an insight into the latest trends and innovations in apparel industry.

Through its participation, IndiaMART.com will highlight diverse products and designs offered by Indian MSMEs engaged in manufacturing of clothing and fashion accessories to global buying houses, wholesalers, retailers, buyers, etc.

Dinesh Agarwal, founder and CEO, IndiaMART.com, said, “Indian Apparel and Fashion Industry holds immense potential and is increasingly becoming competitive in its offerings. I am sure our participation in this trade event will help small businesses in the sector get significant business opportunities from global buyers. Offering one-stop networking platform for the entire apparel, footwear and accessories supply chain, the trade event is held twice a year - February and August.

The event will play host to apparel, footwear and accessories manufacturers, fabric mills, trim and component suppliers, print design studios, and supply chain service providers from around the world and will help its attendees discover new manufacturing, fabric and design resources.

'Magic' will also host a complimentary seminar series where top industry experts will share their insights on important issues like trend forecasting, impact of social media on the retail and fashion world, gaining strategies in order to improve a business etc.

Gauging the significance of this trade event in enhancing the growth opportunities for Indian MSMEs of the respective sectors, IndiaMART.com has participated in 'Magic' for eight times prior to this. This will be its 9th time participation in the much acclaimed trade show.
