Softcell to resell PTC product line for MBs

PTC expands partnership with Softcell Technologies

BANGALORE, INDIA: PTC, the Product Development Company, has announced that it has expanded its partnership with Softcell Technologies, an existing PTC value added reseller (VAR). Presently focused on the small to medium businesses (SMB), Softcell will now resell software in PTC’s Product Development System to midsized manufacturing companies, including Pro/ENGINEER for computer aided design (CAD) and Windchill for product lifecycle management.

Commenting on this announcement, Rafiq Somani, country manager, PTC said, “Manufacturing organizations in the mid sized space form a critical link in the product value and supply chain between large strategic firms and their many downstream suppliers. With a proven track record of sales, service and support, Softcell is a logical choice of partner to help PTC cater to this critical segment of our market.”
