HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA: Digium, the Asterisk Company, today announced the interoperability of its award-winning, web-aware Switchvox IP PBX with MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking service.

MegaPath, the leading provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America, gives customers the ability to leverage Digium’s IP PBX to support the company’s voice and data communications services. Used together, Switchvox and the MegaPath Duet service can create substantial savings on voice and data services for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs).

Digium’s Switchvox IP PBX has been certified to work with MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking service, thereby streamlining adoption of the Switchvox telephony system. Switchvox is a low-cost VoIP and unified communications solution built on the open source Asterisk platform.
