IRVINE, CA: Paragon Software Group (PSG), a provider in data security and data management solutions, recently announced that it has introduced the Drive Backup 10 Server Edition, a solution that offers disaster recovery and system migration in both physical and virtual environments.
From five computers to thousands of computers across multiple locations, SMBs and mid-enterprises can now affordably protect their systems and data.
Drive Backup 10 Server Edition optimizes workload, reduces recovery times and associated costs with migrating or deploying systems and gives IT managers complete flexibility in managing the continuity of their systems -- whether in a physical or virtual environment. It includes Adaptive Restore and gives the ability to restore to different hardware, said a press release.
Tom Fedro, president of Paragon Software Group said, "The debut of Drive Backup 10 Server Edition takes us to the next level as our software can now scale to larger customers -- with more advanced features and a lower price point than competing offerings."
"Our resellers have been telling us that they need an affordable, all inclusive solution for their larger corporate customers, and Drive Backup 10 Server Edition fits the bill perfectly," he added.
Drive Backup 10 Server Edition creates an exact duplicate image of the live disk drives on servers or workstations, including the operating system, all files, programs, updates, and databases.
As the corporate environment continues to embrace virtualization and reap its economic benefits, Paragon Software developed the newest edition of its flagship Drive Backup product to enable and simplify migration to a virtual environment, said the release.
