London, UK: Leading business Internet and hosting provider, Easynet Connect, has launched a range of offers to help bring colocated hosting within the reach of more small businesses, including free set-up worth £1,500 per rack or a free 10Mbps IP feed for 12 months worth £3,245.
Having originally led the market in driving ease of set-up and flexible pricing for its Internet connectivity packages, Easynet Connect is now looking to do the same for its colocation services. The offer will initially be available until 30th June 2009.
With data centres in 30 locations across the UK, powered by carbon-neutral hydro-electric power supplies, Easynet Connect is seeing a growing demand for colocation with many companies looking to save on the costs of hosting servers and applications in-house.
Chris Stening, managing director of Easynet Connect, said: “Many small businesses understand the time and cost savings to be had by hosting their servers externally and moving to colocation is a natural step in reducing energy and support costs."
"By offering free set-up, or a 10 Mbps IP feeds, we want to bring down the barriers to colocated hosting and help more business benefit from the piece of mind offered by having theirservers in a fully secure and reliable environment, he added.
"Our recent research demonstrated just how much reliance small businesses have on the internet to help them survive the recession. No matter what the demands of a business, the Web enables companies to outsource their application hosting, allowing them greater freedom to concentrate on their core business operations," Stening said.
