He added that with the launch of Edgecore Networks, we are leveraging the strong channel and product legacy that they've built with SMC Networks and have created a company that will build upon the existing product portfolio to focus on the SMB, enterprise, Metro Ethernet, hospitality, and other MxU environments.

Edgecore Networks demonstrated a variety of its network infrastructure solutions representing equipment deployments at both the edge and core of the network. It also announced the launch of the company website, www.edgecorenetworks.com. The website was designed to provide a robust interface between the company's end users and reseller partners by supporting the needs for solutions research, product information and technical support, said a press release.
