SCOTTSDALE, AZ: Chinook Hosting, a hosting company, together with BroadSoft, a provider in VoIP applications, today announced that they have demonstrated a new enterprise-class customer relationship management (CRM) solution application that enables small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) to improve efficiency and enhance their customers' service experience.
The solution, built by implement.com, leverages Microsoft's business productivity applications integrated with BroadSoft BroadWorks VoIP application platform. It demonstrates how BroadSoft Xtended, Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 work collaboratively to automatically retrieve customer contact information based on the caller ID or other call parameters, said a press release.
Steve Schwartz, president and CEO of Chinook Hosting said, "Our demonstration shows how UC integrates the components of VOIP, mobile voice, IM, presence and video to interact seamlessly with hosted business applications to enable collaboration across the whole organization."
"This type of integration clearly validates the business value of UC," he added.
"This kind of innovative application underscores the value of BroadSoft's partnerships across hosting companies, telecommunications service providers and software developers in creating and delivering powerful, affordable business communications solutions to our joint customers," said Leslie Ferry, vice president of marketing at BroadSoft.
He further said that their partnership with Chinook Hosting demonstrates how hosted UC can be integrated with business applications to produce real commercial value. Service providers can quickly deliver this offering to the SMB market without a massive investment.
