NEW DELHI, INDIA: Acer, announced a free upgrade program on purchases of its Vista Home Premium Models. The free upgrade is available for its entire portfolio of brands spanning from Acer, Gateway to eMachines.

This undertaking was a follow up to the worldwide launch of Windows 7 OS by Microsoft. The program will provide customers with an option to upgrade existing models on Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Premium at zero cost (no hidden charges). In this industry-leading move, Acer will offer the consumer an upfront rebate of Rs. 1000 from the shop floor on every purchase of an Acer model on the Vista platform (VHP).

Moreover, as per this offer, customers can avail an upfront discount of Rs.. 1000 on all Aspire series of notebooks & desktops as well as on Gateway and eMachines notebooks on Vista Home Premium platform.

Announcing Acer’s upgrade initiative, Mr. W.S. Mukund, MD, Acer India said, “The Acer upgrade program is the best program in the market, period. It gives the consumers making a PC buying decision the freedom to make a choice without having to worry with the associated confusing buying syndrome of ‘should I decide today?' or ' should I wait, watch and decide later?’

He added, "The program gives the consumer convenience and flexibility in terms of the time they have to make the choice, not having to worry about spending any money on the upgrade and most importantly ensure that the consumer has a large array of offerings of Acer to choose without being constrained in any manner from a perceived lack of choice of computers on the Win 7 platform.”

This limited period offer is valid from the Oct 23-Nov15. The products are available across all Acer brand stores, channel partners and LFRs.
