Features 500GB of storage space that would help users easily transfer, store, share important files and data

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information, Inc., a provider in the digital storage industry, today announced the availability of its new 2.5" portable hard drive, StoreJet 25F, in India.

The new hard drive, measuring 113.8 mm x 80.9 mm x 15.9mm, is basically designed for business travelers, said a press release.

Despite its compact size, the StoreJet 25F has up to 500GB of storage space so users can easily transfer, store, and share important files and data, the release added.

"Combining its huge storage capacity with designer gloss diamond pattern and lustrous metallic finish, the StoreJet 25F is truly a marriage of technology and style,” said Austin Huang, regional head - Sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend.

“Moreover, its useful anti-slip rubber feet provide a stable base for resting on a table or computer case. We are confident that our customers will appreciate this elegant portable storage solution that Transcend offers for their precious data," he added.

StoreJet 25F features USB2.0 interface that provides data transfer rates up to 480Mb per second, while adding the convenience of true 'plug and play' operation, the release said.

The StoreJet 25F comes with an useful StoreJet elite data-management tools that feature Website AutoLogin, Mobile Favorites with NoTrace Internet browsing, Secret-Zip file encryption, Mobile E-mail, Online Update and intelligent backup scheduling, security, and file compression functions, the release added.

Transcend's StoreJet 25F supports all commonly used operating systems, including Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac, and Linux, the release added.
