After getting tremendous response on his blog, Big B has joined the Twitter parade and the followers are rising by the minute

NEW DELHI, INDIA: After Salman Khan and Sachin Tendulkar now it's Big B's turn to jump on the Twitter bandwagon.

After getting tremendous response on his blog, Amitabh Bachchan has joined the Twitter parade and the followers are rising by the minute.

Bachchan in a mobile blog post on his popular blog announced, "Yipee. . I am on Twitter. . And you can follow me on . . @srbachchan . .love as always."

Big B's first tweet was also addressed to Abhishek. The tweet read, “"@juniorbachchan hey baby !! I made it on twitter !!! Yeeaaaaaahhhh !! ... sorry.. just got carried away .. safe onward flight and love."

In four hours of his entry on twitter, the actor saw 2,172 people start following him. Currently, he has over 41,586 followers. The number is on the rise.

When Tharoor and Modi are tweeting controversies away..let's hope some good ones from Bachchan. For now, we can only wait and watch. Till then, Happy Tweeting Mr. Bachchan!

Respected Mr Bachchan, If you will spend major part of your earning/profit to feed those hungry people of the world who are unable to manage two times meal a day for themselves inspite of their best efforts for the same,you will remain like a king in your coming births and infinite rebirths.Nothing goes with a person from here after death. I agree with your opinion. We don't need a big b to tweet about his going to bathroom. It should have some stuff in it. We don't need a platform to wash the linen in public.
