Barkha Dutt is an ISI Agent. Recall certain issues. (1) Whose reporting of IC814 hijak make relative assemble infront of PM's house, and which resulted in release of 3 terrorists. Reporting was used to blackmail the Govt via affected relatives of IC814. Whose reporting in 1999 Kargil, resulted in failure of one operation and death of some soldiers? Whose reporting of Foreigners inside Taj in a particular room in 26/11 attack, relyed the info to Pak Handlers, who can send the terrorists to that room and kill them? If someone really sleep, they will wakeup on the first noise. People pretend will not wakeup. This lady is an ISI Agent, talking very clear on "Saffron Terror" but trying to fool us, civilians of India, again again and again pretendng an innocent. When she talk wisely in "Saffron Terror" why she goofup in reporting - which risks civlians and indian secruity people?

I remember NDTV presenting an award to Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji some time back. Does it ring a bell? Any implicit intentions? I also recollect the multiple times Barkha Dutt debated about corruption, nepotism, plutocracy and other ills plaguing our country on her shows on national TV with respected members of political parties, academicians and other prominent personalities. I had immense respect for her as a credible and influential journalist who upheld the virtues of clean & straight journalism. For someone like me who literally looked up to her as one of the few pious souls in religion of journalism, it’s a richter-scale shattering earth-quake to learn of her unfortunate involvement and the very undesirable role she played in 'radiagate'. Sadly, TRUST and CREDIBILITY are perhaps the last words in the lexicon of journalists or perhaps, not even existent. What's the frustrating and nauseating difference between the unethical politician and the so-called righteous and uber-glorified journalist? 'Radiagate' is decisively the last wreath on credible journalism.

I always admired Barkha and followed her career over years. never missed 'we the people' . But now I am shocked . I heard it in malayalam news channel first and then checked all English news channels that I watch everyday throughout the day ( times now,CNNIBN and of course NDTV) and was surprised to note that not a word on this . These three news channels take pride in being the first to bring out breaking news but why silence on this issue. Especially Arnab whom i thought had guts. It's very saddening to note that a respected journalist like Barkha Dutt whom I held in high esteem has stooped so low. Regarding Vir Sanghvi I was always little suspect of him after watching his snobbish TV shows and columns. Disappointing to see the media silence and respected journalists like Rajdeep Sardesai coming to her defence. Least that can be done is that Barkha and Vir should be booted out of the media so that they can join other lobbyists.

I think as a journalist of ethics it is the duty of Barkha to come up clean in the entire episode. Interestingly the take does not presnt her as a culprit. Also, there is no proof that she lobbied for anybody. So, now she should clearly take a stance, not an emotional one, but a very practical one. Barkha shoud understand that netizens love to hate her because of her emotional outbursts as seen during the 26/11 coverage

I have watched Barkha Dutt on NDTV for so long and has always liked the way she conducts her sessions or programs. When i tuned in yesterday, I felt such a revulsion for her and all the self-styled 'honest' journalists. Darn frustrating. She needs to be grilled and we may even get answers for the top 10 corruption scandals that has hit the country.

There's a fine line between journalism and racketeering. Now,the question is whether racketeers donned the role of journalists, or journalists donned the role of racketeers. To say journalists will have to cultivate sources is one way of seeking protection from slander. Why put legs in both the boats at the same time? Some dignity is expected of those who anchor programmes on TV on matters of public interst. One we know they are into rackets, how do we get ourselves to listen to their ongoing "tamasha"?
