Aberdeen names Websense as one of the 100 most influential technology vendors in its 2008

MUMBAI, INDIA: Industry analyst Aberdeen, a Harte-Hanks company has recognized Websense as one of the 100 most influential technology vendors in its 2008 State of the Market Report.

The report identifies top two criteria organizations use when selecting a technology solution that includes total cost of ownership (43 per cent) and product functionality (42 per cent).

Survey respondents were given an "open-text" opportunity to identify the top three technology companies that had the most influence on their business performance over the course of the past year.

Nearly, 5,000 respondents including technology buyers participated in the survey.

"Websense security solutions are designed to help organizations focus on their core business objectives without having to worry about data leaks, Internet-based threats or productivity drains," said Leo Cole, vice president of marketing, Websense.
