NEW DELHI, INDIA: Vodafone Essar, India's No. 3 mobile operator majority owned by Vodafone, said on Thursday it had applied to participate in the country's upcoming 3G spectrum auction, starting April 9.
Today Bharti Airtel had also announced that it is bidding for the 3G spectrum.
