NEW DELHI, INDIA: Minister of Communication and IT, A Raja, said that private telecom operators would commercially launch 3G services as soon as the spectrum was allocated to the successful bidders “Telecom operators who are confident enough of getting 3G spectrum have already invested in upgradation of the network. The moment they get the spectrum, 3G services would be commercially launched in the country,” said the Minister talking exclusively to VOICE&DATA on the sidelines of a two-day national forum on 'Mobile Application for Inclusive Growth and Development', organized by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Wednesday.
