HYDERABAD, INDIA: Following the dramatic revelation of fraud in Satyam Computer Services and the founder chairman Ramalinga Raju, the fourth largest IT firm in India has formed a new team to look into the day-to-day affairs of the company.
This was announced by the interim CEO of Satyam, Ram Mynampati, in his letter to the management and staff.
The new team comprises professional who have spent 10 years in Satyam and twenty years in the industry.
"These are the leaders on the ground and have always had the final call on most customer and associate related matters in the company," Mynampati said.
Admitting that the company is obviously shocked by the contents of the letter written by Ramalinga Raju, the interim CEO said "the senior leaders of Satyam stand united in their commitment to customers, associates, suppliers and all shareholders."
Apologising to the staff for the uncertainty and inconvenience caused by the turn of events on Wednesday, he assured them that Satyam will emerge stronger.
"Increased focus on transparency at all levels, integrity and ethical functioning will be ensured," he said in the letter.
