terrorism is a state of mind. If not one technology they will use another. Still it is out duty to prevent technolgy from being misused by terrorists

The latest technology for warfare has been used since the dawn of mankind. We started with rocks and will end up, God knows where, or just end up.

Though it can be said that technology cannot be directly used for terror, the latest revelations justfy the argument here. The security agencies have confirmed that the terrorists have done enough recce using ultramiodern communication technology like satellite mapping of the hotel and the entire communication was doine with satellite phones. Yes, they used AK47 to kill. But before the guns it was the technology that they used to implement their plan. No doubt technology is becoming kind of teel in the hands of terrorists. Thats why i find it difficul to digest the comment of UpinStaff.

It can be argued that technology is nmot directly responsible for terrorist activities. But it is a fact that technology is becoming a toll for terrorists. The role of techies, as it is emerging every time after a terror attack, points to this tech terror link...

technology should not be blamed for terror, though it has becomea tool for terrorists to communicate. Yes, that is the fate of the world. When Dynamite was invented, Nobel did not expect it to be a tool of disaster!!

Sorry.. but if you are really convinced by this "line of arguments"... you didnt comprehend anything.. tools are never responsible for things, made with them.. but you can destroy, what you want do secure, by "fighting" against this tools..Youll never solve social, political oder religious problems by using technical methods to "fight" against possible abuses of used technologies

Im not sure if this is meant to be a joke or not? Satellite phones and micro blogging are used to implement terror... Have you been popping too many pills? They stormed hotels with AK-47s, that has nothing to do with technology, that strategy has been around for the last 20 years. The fact that one of them made a call on a satellite phone doesnt mean its technologies fault. You should write for the Daily Mail (UK)!
