China does not have more English speaking people than India. These British people creating competition between India and China so that they spread English all over the world. means thier aim is to make English as most speaking language by hook and crook.

Our "English language skills" are far better than the Chinese even if there are more people speaking the language but lets not rule out the cheap labor in china and how efficient Chinese are in their work.

I have had colleagues of chinese origin in america who have been living there for over 25 years but still would just manage to speak in english that would sound more like mandarin. Only fellow chinese americans would understand fully what they say.

Do you think that the world can understand the Chinese English? It may take at least 5 decades for them to speak English. But by that time English will no loger be the global language

By focusing less on politics and increasing focus on development would mean we may retain the current trend. We rather have educated Indians as compared to English speaking crowd. Many successful Indian business people dont use english in their daily transactions but they are contributing to the developing economy. Lets focus on development.
