I would like to appreciate and thank our CSG commandos whose hard and devoted labour succeeded in flashing out the hard core terrorists from Taj, Oberoi and Nariman House. India is safe only in the hands of our army and all Indians are very much grateful to their sincerity, ability and effectiveness. It is yet to be understood how many terrorists altogether came to Mumbai and in what manner they took the different position to capture such three large buildings. It is not clear how many of them have been killed and how many of them have been arrested and taken in custody for further interrogation. Is it not a fact that some of the terrorists fled away along with hotel guest throwing dust in the eyes of the army people. How many dead bodies have been identified as the dead body of terrorist? Government could have made efforts to capture all terrorist alive by using the tear gas or laughing gas or Bhopal gas ( leakage of which caused thousands of death) pushed into the room wherefrom terrorists were firing. To safeguard hostages government prolonged the process of Operation Tornado. In my view army should have stormed all the three houses with full force and could seize them alive. In such case terrorists could not get the time for killing hostages and many lives could be saved. Lastly if ten or fifteen person can make entire Mumbai hostage or it may be said thousands of police and army person together took three days in eliminating the a group of hardly ten terrorists, I am afraid thousands of such terrorist can disturb entire country and entire army and Government of India will fall flat. To handle such situation government should prepare it and equip the local police at all towns with enough arms and ammunition and build capacity in them to fight such terror attacks. It is without doubt that terrorists have already spread their network in every towns and cities and they act with well planned strategy forcing us all the time to ponder over our weaknesses after all incidents and construct a task force committee to submit report. Rather we should try to take lesson from such terror attacks and ensure that our forces( police or army or military) are alert all the time and equipped with modern arms and ammunition . There must be regular monitoring and feedback on the activities of such armed forces and police forces through intelligence media as also public representatives to ensure that our system is at Red Alert position 24 hours. Government must keep away dirty politics on the matter of safety and security of people. Only mutual mud-slinging process among politicians and blame game of leaders cannot solve any problem but on the contrary this is the main causes which gives energy to our enemy to cause one after another terror attack without any fear of death or punishment. Our armed forces should construct Fidayeen Army who will attack terror camps to remove them out from the world. For this purpose cooperation from other countries can also be obtained to make our fight against terrorism successful. Danendra Jain
