ESS wins ERP contract in Ghana

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Eastern Software System (ESS) has won a contract from Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) to implement ebizframe, its flagship ERP product.

The implementation will be driven towards automating Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, Assets and HR-Payroll functions for GIPC. GIPC, a Ghana government agency, encourages, promotes and facilitates investments across all sectors of the Ghana economy.

"Our success in Ghana shall certainly make us more acceptable amidst other Government Agencies and also the corporate sector in Ghana that we intend reaching out to," said Anil Bakht, chairman and managing director, Eastern Software Systems.

The contract is ESS' first government order in Western Africa.
