BANGALORE, INDIA: Dax Networks today launched DX-4044, an advanced 4 Mbps LAN extender, targeted at small, medium and large enterprises.

DX-4044 has the functions of Single-Paired High Speed Digital Subscriber Loop (SHDSL) 4-wire router, which provides business class communication access solution.

With these SHDSL routers, customers will be able to leverage the latest in broadband technologies and meet the growing data communication needs. It also features advanced functions of Multi-DMZ, virtual server mapping and VPN pass-through for safeguarded connections.

DX-4044 follows Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), which enables network administrators to manage network performance, monitor and troubleshoot network problems, and plan for network growth. It supports four ports 10Base-T /100Base-T auto-negotiation and auto-MDIX switching ports, which allows easy configuration and management with password control for various application environments.

It is priced at Rs 50,000 and Dax plans to market through its strong channel spread across the country.
