First agency in India to receive the recognition

MUMBAI,INDIA: Communicate 2, an agency focusing on contextual advertising, announced on Thursday that it received a certification from Google Analytics Authorized Consultant (GAAC).

Google Analytics is an effective analytics tool that can enable businesses to make informed decisions about their online marketing, said a press release.

Communicate 2 advocates its use for marketers to understand how visitors use their websites, how they are performing and how well their marketing and advertising efforts are generating results, it said.

It would train its team of over 160 professionals on the analytics tool making them the largest pool of analytics proficient search professionals in India.

The FICCI reported that the Internet advertising is growing at a CAGR of 39 per cent and would cross Rs. 2,000 crore by 2009, the release added.

It is gradually taking over all other forms of advertising wherein there has been a shift from traditional media to search engine marketing. As the demand is increasing for this channel, it needs to provide better quantifiable results.

"All advertising mediums shall become dynamically priced as well as contextual -- the backbone of both these characteristics is going to be measurement and analytics.

We have worked for the last six months to build an analytics division in Communicate 2 and GAAC is vindication that we are successful in building this division,” said Vivek Bhargava, founder and MD, Communicate 2.

“I think being GAAC certified gives a competitive edge to our search clients - as our entire 160-people team would eventually be trained to use analytics to improve the performance of our paid-search campaigns," he added.

Google Analytics has all the features from a high-end analytics offering. It provides integrated AdWords support, is easy to use, safe, and can track all enterprise online ad campaigns irrespective of the search engine or referral source, it said.
