BANGALORE, INDIA:Cisco, a provider in networking services, recently announced that its WebEx has been awarded the prestigious market leadership award for “Audio & Web Conferencing Services” in FY 2008 by, global growth consulting firm, Frost & Sullivan.

The award recognizes Cisco WebEx as the leader in the audio and web conferencing services market in India. It focuses on Cisco WebEx’s revenue growth, market share and growth in market share, leadership in product innovation, breadth of products and solutions, major customer acquisitions, and business and market strategy, said a press release.

Frost & Sullivan presents Leadership Awards to companies in recognition of making an outstanding contribution to their respective industries or achieving a competitive or customer-based leading position in the market, it added.

These prestigious awards are recognized worldwide and seek to recognize and honor outstanding performance by companies and individuals in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry across the country for base year 2008, the release said.
